Refund Policy

This page explains how NoteFlame handles Rockstar subscription cancellations, Paddle billing, and refund requests.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

1. Overview and scope

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for NoteFlame Rockstar subscriptions and related paid features.

This Policy applies to purchases made for NoteFlame through the checkout or billing flow. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as the merchant of record, reseller, payment processor, or billing provider shown at checkout.

2. Free trial

New players may receive a 7-day Rockstar trial with no credit card required.

Because the trial does not require a payment method, there is no trial charge to refund. If you do not subscribe after the trial, your account may continue with Free access and Rockstar features may pause.

3. Subscriptions and cancellation

Rockstar is a paid subscription that costs €3/month.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. You are responsible for cancelling your subscription if you no longer want Rockstar access.

If you cancel, Rockstar access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless Paddle, checkout terms, or applicable law states otherwise. Cancelling prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, please contact NoteFlame support at contact@noteflame.com or through the contact form on the website.

Please include the email address used for purchase, the approximate purchase date, and a short explanation of the issue. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, or sensitive payment details.

We will review the request and may use Paddle transaction information to verify the purchase, check billing status, process an approved refund, or comply with tax, fraud-prevention, and payment requirements.

5. When refunds may be considered

Refunds may be considered where required by applicable consumer law, where Paddle’s buyer terms or refund policy provide a refund right, or where Paddle approves a refund request.

Refunds may also be considered for duplicate charges, clear billing mistakes, or persistent technical issues that prevent access to the paid Rockstar features after reasonable troubleshooting.

All refund requests may be reviewed based on transaction records, account status, product usage, technical information, support history, fraud prevention, and applicable law.

6. Non-refundable situations

Except where required by law or approved by Paddle, payments are generally non-refundable once the paid billing period has started and Rockstar access has been made available.

Refunds may be refused in cases of cheating, leaderboard manipulation, multiplayer abuse, spam, fraud, refund abuse, chargeback misuse, violation of our Terms, unauthorized use, or other abusive activity.

Refunds are not guaranteed simply because you forgot to cancel, changed your mind, did not use the service, lost a score, disliked a gameplay result, experienced temporary downtime, or no longer want Rockstar access, unless applicable law or Paddle’s policy requires otherwise.

7. Effect of a refund

If a refund is approved, Rockstar access connected to the refunded transaction may end, the subscription may be cancelled, and future renewal access may stop.

Refunding a payment does not automatically delete your NoteFlame account, gameplay history, leaderboard records, or support messages. Those items are handled under our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact Paddle or NoteFlame support before opening a chargeback or payment dispute when possible. This usually helps resolve the issue faster.

If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal, Rockstar access may be suspended while the issue is reviewed. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to account restriction or termination to the extent allowed by law.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date on this page.

The refund rules that apply to a transaction may also depend on the Paddle terms, checkout terms, and refund policy in effect at the time of purchase.
